Subject: How to spend just 10 minutes erecting an awning and annex

I have discovered a way to spend just 10 minutes erecting a Dorema awning and
annex complete with annex inner tent.

1)  Spend two minutes unpacking the awning

2)  Spend five minutes feeding the awning through the channel on the side of
our TEC 440TE caravan

3)  Spend two minutes putting the poles in their approximate position

4)  Spend a further one minute trying to apply tension to the poles

THEN

Collapse to the ground with chest pains, and while being attended to by a
paramedic, two ambulance personnel and a midwife
(Yes - a midwife!), other TEC club members finish the job while you get carted off
to hospital.

Seriously though, I really appreciate the help and support given by fellow TEC
club members to my wife and son,as well as myself, when I suffered a severe
angina attack (the first for fifteen months) at the Kings Lynn rally.

Not only did they finish erecting the awning and collecting my wife from the
hospital on the Friday evening, but also insisted on dismantling and packing
away the awning on the Monday. One even rang us up on the Monday evening
to make sure that we
got back OK!

Hi Bill
its Zoe
Ken & Helens eldest
As the teenager of the group i just thought i would email you and say how
cool the easter rally was. To be honest ever since we joined the club you
have all made myself and my sister Emily, AKA Maggot, very welcome on all the
rallies we have attended with mum and dad. Maggot and I are very excited about
the rallies planned for this year my particular favourites being the 50's and 60's
rock 'n' roll weekend and the country and western weekend. I hope other junior
members will read this email and hopefully will join us on these fun weekends.
Thank you to all in the T.E.C owners club
Luv Zoe x

P.S looking forward to seeing the easter pictures.
Your Letters.
What can we say an absolutely brilliant weekend, A superb site and with the
use of the club house in evening when it turned cold there just is nothing
more we could ask for. Hilary's idea of a quiet game on the friday evening left
some with a headache but all part of the fun and we thoroughly enjoyed it
(our little Tony can be blamed for the headaches as he gave out the prizes).
The firework display was something to see and all will remember it as being
fantastic. A big thank you and well done to all that organised and helped to
make this a really fantastic weekend for one and all.

Hi to all you,
With regards to the sudden change to the rally location for the May bank holiday
weekend.
After a some research on the internet on the Measham Farm site, I thought it
prudent to visit the site for myself to check on the facilities. I was somewhat
concerned to find that the site would not meet the expectations of the
membership.
After consultation with other committee members it was recommended that an
alternative site be located for those of you that still wanted to come out for the
weekend. Well done to Bill for securing North Runcton, a site known for its high
standards. Unfortunately due to unforeseen personal circumstances Helen & I
were unable to attend.
It was my personal opinion that caused the decision to change locations, but I
could not have not reported my findings to the club after what we had found at
Measham Farm.
Please accept my apologies for any inconveniece I may have caused to any of you,
but my concerns for the health & safety of you & your families was main priority
as vice chairman.
Looking forward to seeing you all on future rallies.
Regards.
Ken & Helen Platt
